Each document reflects the hands-on, character-driven approach we bring to preparing students for life and work in the trades. Designed for use during the weekly character education class, these materials are used in conjunction with one another to provide the facilitators with everything that they need to lead a lesson with students. Our goal is to make this as easy as possible, providing a framework for the lesson that is turnkey, while allowing the opportunity for creativity and expansion of ideas on the part of the facilitator as they implement the lesson.
Facilitator Guide
Step-by-step teaching notes with pacing, tips, and answer keys—giving instructors everything they need for confident, effective delivery. We provide this, yet the Lesson Presentation is only available via online access to support the lesson implementation with the Facilitator Guide.
Student Workbook
A comprehensive companion volume combining worksheets, case studies, and reflection pages, serving as each learner’s personal record of progress.
Lesson Overview
A concise snapshot of each session’s objectives, key activities, and Craftsman with Character® Code connections—perfect for quick browsing to get a grasp on lesson content or for planning and timing an upcoming session.
Lesson Narrative
A short, story-driven explanation that frames the lesson’s purpose, guiding learners from real-world context to hands-on application. This is tremendously helpful for new facilitators to provide more background and ideas for engagement.
Class Presentation
A ready-to-use slide deck with visuals, discussion prompts, and timing cues that keep the class engaging and on track.
Journal Entry
Daily or weekly reflection prompts that help students internalize concepts, track growth, and link course themes to personal experience.
